Home - Climate Protection Task Force
The City's goal is to reduce greenhouse gasses to the threshold of 30% less than 2006 levels by 2020. Building housing adjacent to Highway 237/Mission Boulevard encourages cars on the roadways and goes against our carbon emission goals. The City is mandated to create a climate action plan and the task force will make recommendations to City Council this spring. Please let the task force know your ideas on ways to reduce carbon emissions.
